1. WHAT THIS SITE IS ALL ABOUT…
This page is about how we got a sudden shock that you have to learn basic HTML+CSS(+possibly a bit of java script) and building a website using them. wait…
It doesn't ends here! also host it either on laptop or somewhere else.
Wait …. did i mentioned this page?……..
This page is all about our journey of making this funny iiitd website.
2. THIS IS HOW WE STARTED….
this is how we literally started..
initially we had no idea what to do or where to start. so we fired up chrome => went to codeacademy.com and started scribbling.
first time found the spoon feeding technique of codeacademy helpful. thanks….
we also tried distributing tasks but eventually that didn't work!!
3. TOOLS AND LANGUAGES USED
NO! honestly no such tools were used to create this website. we pened down each and every single line of code on notepad++ (really a great editor!!).
one of us also used HTML-kit to write code.
also we only used html and css language to create this page entirely. a downloaded javascript file is also used which is mentioned in the next heading..
4. DOWNLOADED FILES USED
a) BOOTSTRAP.CSS actually as mentioned we started off learning on codeacademy and they used this file to fragment screen in 12 column.
we found it very helpful and borrowed this file from there..
b) MAIN.JS
we tried to learn some basic javascript but all we ended up eith a conclusion that it is not possible in 1 week. but the place where we started
off this learnig , we came across a very beautiful canvas which me borrowed to make our site more interesting.
c) PICS
hardly any of the pics used on our site belongs to us. they are all courtesy to google. ALL HAIL GOOGLE….
5. STEP BY STEP LEARNING..
Getting agreement of all the member of team is a great thing and we are proud to say the same happped in our group.
we all learned and teach.
as already told we started off a piece of paper and scriblling on it.
first we wanted to make a superfunny site on iiitd using zombified pics of instructors but even though we got the permission from viswesvaran sir,
jalote sir and vikram sir straight forwardedly didn't gave us the permission to use there zombified pic, so without any further thinking we ditched
that plan and started all over again. (with a bit less funny thoughts…)
we distributed the work but as always nothing went according to plan.we had met in college several times as none of us is a hosteler.
we made it the remade it and then again remade it to what it is today. first it was basic website. then we added gifs to it. then dropdown navs
and so on..

7. PLATFORM USED TO HOST.
we used godaddy to host our website. it was way simpler then we initially thought.
we had to buy a domain name and hosting service and upload files via FTP and done…
8. WHO DID WHAT…
a) MOHIT KUMAR:
was incharge of facilities part of the page.
b) VANSHIT GUPTA:
was incharge of about part of the page as well as he gave the dropdowns to nav buttons..
c) SOURAV GHAI:
was incharge of education part of the page.
d) SAURABH KUMAR:
I looked after everything that was left. From faculty/placement/students/home part
of the page to wikipage and buying domain and hosting.

allow us to use his zombified pic. thanks a lot sir..

out to be a brilliant holiday.you fed us with sense of proud that we did something completely on
